hi... we've been in sd now for 12 days and our vacation has been extremely wonderful and relaxing - until monday. we got a phone call that has almost turned joels world upside down. his sd boss-mentor-friend had passed on sunday from a very sudden health complication. the shock is wearing off and the grief and sadness is setting in. we are in philip until tomorrow morning and then joel and i are off to sf for the funeral. we're staying with some friends there (can't wait to see you) and will be returning to philip on friday night. then back to missoula on saturday. i'll then be able to update you on our comings and goings and add more pics! please keep joel and marks family and friends in your prayers!
